Random acts of art, gifting, joy, sharing, and kindness.
LEAVE NO TRACE!
Please plan to pack out all your trash. While we will have designated containers set up it would be super helpful for you to take it with you and/ or help us pick up trash throughout and post-event. Breakdown is (time), by (time) EVERYTHING MUST BE GONE. If you are sharing your art, please bring a broom to sweep the sidewalks clean, pack out what you brought, and pick up large debris.
This is a volunteer-only event. To be a part of the team that makes this fun reality (and score a lot of high fives!) email Volunteer@seacompression.org or show up and help an artist out.
Please protect the neighborhood and be a good citizen. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Do not cut through bushes, or private property. That’s not cool. Leave the event quietly and help each other to your next destination. Please remember this is an urban environment, so please use caution and protect your valuables. If you are needing to walk to your vehicle and do not feel safe, please contact a Black Rock Ranger, and we will get you assistance.
PLEASE do not drive if you have had anything to drink. Have a designated driver or catch a taxi.
Free the next day?!?
Come back the next morning to help clean up! Leaving the neighborhood cleaner than we found it is a gift we are stoked to give! If you’re up early, get a head start and pick up any trash, feathers, cigarette butts, etc. Or come from 3am to 11am for our neighborhood clean-up!
A group of us will meet at the lot by The Stables to start clean up. Many hands make light work and we aim to leave the neighborhood CLEANER than it was. Bring gloves if you got ’em. We’ll bring supplies, free donuts, coffee and thank you gifts! Thanks! – – This really means a lot to those of us that have to stay up all night and need your support to make it fun and fast.
